KJV : Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which [is] in Jezreel.
YLT : And the Philistines gather all their camps to Aphek, and the Israelites are encamping at a fountain which [is] in Jezreel,

KJV : And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish.

BNV : পলেষ্টীয় সেনাপতিরা জিজ্ঞাসা করল, “এই ইব্রীযরা, এখানে কি করছে?”আখীশ বললেন, “এ হচ্ছে দায়ূদ, শৌলের একজন উচ্চপদস্থ আধিকারিক| আমার সঙ্গে ও অনেকদিন রযেছে| শৌলকে ছেড়ে দেবার পর থেকে যতদিন দায়ূদ আমার কাছে রযেছে ততদিন ওর মধ্যে খারাপ কিছু দেখি নি|”
KJV : Then said the princes of the Philistines, What [do] these Hebrews [here?] And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, [Is] not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell [unto me] unto this day?
YLT : And the heads of the Philistines say, `What [are] these Hebrews?` and Achish saith unto the heads of the Philistines, `Is not this David servant of Saul king of Israel, who hath been with me these days or these years, and I have not found in him anything [wrong] from the day of his falling away till this day.`
RV : Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell away {cf15i unto me} unto this day?
RSV : the commanders of the Philistines said, "What are these Hebrews doing here?" And Achish said to the commanders of the Philistines, "Is not this David, the servant of Saul, king of Israel, who has been with me now for days and years, and since he deserted to me I have found no fault in him to this day."
ASV : Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, who hath been with me these days, or rather these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell away unto me unto this day?
ESV : the commanders of the Philistines said, "What are these Hebrews doing here?" And Achish said to the commanders of the Philistines, "Is this not David, the servant of Saul, king of Israel, who has been with me now for days and years, and since he deserted to me I have found no fault in him to this day."
ERVEN : The Philistine captains asked, "What are these Hebrews doing here?" Achish told the Philistine captains, "This is David. He was one of Saul's officers, but he has been with me for a long time. I found nothing wrong in David since the time he left Saul and came to me."

BNV : তবুও পলেষ্টীয় সেনাপতিরা আখীশের ওপর রেগে গেল| তারা বলল, “দায়ূদকে ফেরত পাঠিয়ে দাও| ওকে যে শহরে তুমি থাকতে দিয়েছ, সেখানে ওকে ফিরে যেতেই হবে| আমাদের সঙ্গে সে যুদ্ধে যাবে না| ওকে রাখা মানে একজন শত্রুকেই রাখা| সে আমাদের সৈন্যদের মেরে তার রাজা শৌলকেই খুশী করবে|
KJV : And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? [should it] not [be] with the heads of these men?
YLT : And the heads of the Philistines are wroth against him, and the heads of the Philistines say to him, `Send back the man, and he doth turn back unto his place whither thou hast appointed him, and doth not go down with us into battle, and is not to us for an adversary in battle; and wherewith doth this one reconcile himself unto his lord -- is it not with the heads of those men?`
RV : But the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make the man return, that he may go back to his place where thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he become an adversary to us: for wherewith should this {cf15i fellow} reconcile himself unto his lord? should it not be with the heads of these men?

ERVEN : But the Philistine captains were angry with Achish. They said, "Send him back. Let him go back to the city you gave him, but he can't go into battle with us. As long as he is here, we have an enemy in our own camp. He would make his king happy by killing our men.

BNV : দায়ূদকে নিয়ে ইস্রায়েলীয়রা এই গান গেয়ে নাচানাচি করে:শৌল মেরেছে শত্রু হাজারে হাজারে| দায়ূদ মেরেছে অয়ুতে অয়ুতে!
KJV : [Is] not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
YLT : Is not this David, of whom they answer in choruses, saying, Saul hath smitten among his thousands, and David among his myriads?`
RV : Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
RSV : Is not this David, of whom they sing to one another in dances, `Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands'?"
ASV : Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul hath slain his thousands, And David his ten thousands?
ESV : Is not this David, of whom they sing to one another in dances, 'Saul has struck down his thousands, and David his ten thousands'?"
ERVEN : Isn't David the one the Israelites sing and dance about when they sing this song: "Saul has killed thousands of enemies, but David has killed tens of thousands."

BNV : তাই দায়ূদকে ডেকে আখীশ বললেন, “প্রভুর অস্তিত্বের মতোই নিশ্চিত যে তুমি আমার অনুগত| তোমাকে আমার সৈন্যদের মধ্যে রাখলে আমি খুশি হতাম| যেদিন থেকে তুমি আমার কাছে, আমি তোমার কোন অন্যায় দেখি নি| কিন্তু পলেষ্টীয় শাসকরা তোমাকে সমর্থন করে নি|
KJV : Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, [as] the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host [is] good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.
YLT : And Achish calleth unto David, and saith unto him, `Jehovah liveth, surely thou [art] upright, and good in mine eyes is thy going out, and thy coming in, with me in the camp, for I have not found in thee evil from the day of thy coming in unto me till this day; and in the eyes of the princes thou art not good;
RV : Then Achish called David, and said unto him, As the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not.
RSV : Then Achish called David and said to him, "As the LORD lives, you have been honest, and to me it seems right that you should march out and in with me in the campaign; for I have found nothing wrong in you from the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless the lords do not approve of you.
ASV : Then Achish called David, and said unto him, As Jehovah liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight; for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favor thee not.
ESV : Then Achish called David and said to him, "As the LORD lives, you have been honest, and to me it seems right that you should march out and in with me in the campaign. For I have found nothing wrong in you from the day of your coming to me to this day. Nevertheless, the lords do not approve of you.
ERVEN : So Achish called David and said, "As surely as the Lord lives, you are loyal to me. I would be pleased to have you serve in my army. I haven't found anything wrong with you since the day you came to me. The Philistine rulers also think you are a good man.

BNV : তুমি ফিরে যাও| পলেষ্টীয় রাজাদের বিরুদ্ধে তুমি কিছু করো না|”
KJV : Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.
YLT : and now, turn back, and go in peace, and thou dost do no evil in the eyes of the princes of the Philistines.`
RV : Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that thou displease not the lords of the Philistines.
RSV : So go back now; and go peaceably, that you may not displease the lords of the Philistines."

BNV : দায়ূদ বললেন, “আমি কি এমন অন্যায় করেছি? আজ পর্য়ন্ত যতদিন আপনার সামনে আছি, আপনি কি এই দাসের কোন দোষ পেয়েছন? তবে কেন আমার মনিব মহারাজের শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে দেবেন না?”
KJV : And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been with thee unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
YLT : And David saith unto Achish, `But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant from the day that I have been before thee till this day -- that I go not in and have fought against the enemies of my lord the king?`
RV : And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
RSV : And David said to Achish, "But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?"
ASV : And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what hast thou found in thy servant so long as I have been before thee unto this day, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
ESV : And David said to Achish, "But what have I done? What have you found in your servant from the day I entered your service until now, that I may not go and fight against the enemies of my lord the king?"
ERVEN : David asked, "What have I done wrong? Have you found anything wrong with me since the day I came to you? So why won't you let me go to fight the enemies of my lord the king?"

BNV : আখীশ উত্তর দিলেন, “আমি তোমায় একজন ভালো মানুষ হিসাবে গণ্য করি| তুমি একজন ঈশ্বরের দূতের মতো| কিন্তু কি করব, পলেষ্টীয় সেনাপতিরা বলছে, ‘দায়ূদ আমাদের সঙ্গে যুদ্ধ করতে যাবে না|’
KJV : And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou [art] good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
YLT : And Achish answereth and saith unto David, `I have known that thou [art] good in mine eyes as a messenger of God; only, the princes of the Philistines have said, He doth not go up with us into battle;
RV : And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
RSV : And Achish made answer to David, "I know that you are as blameless in my sight as an angel of God; nevertheless the commanders of the Philistines have said, `He shall not go up with us to the battle.'
ASV : And Achish answered and said to David, I know that thou art good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
ESV : And Achish answered David and said, "I know that you are as blameless in my sight as an angel of God. Nevertheless, the commanders of the Philistines have said, 'He shall not go up with us to the battle.'
ERVEN : Achish answered, "I believe that you are a good man. You are like an angel from God. But the Philistine captains still say, 'David can't go with us into battle.'

BNV : খুব সকালে তুমি লোকদের নিয়ে যে শহর আমি তোমাকে দিয়েছি সেই শহরে ফিরে যাও| সেনাপতিরা তোমার নামে যেসব নিন্দা করেছে সেসবে কান দিও না| তুমি ভাল লোক| তাই সূর্য় ওঠার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে তুমি চলে যাবে|”
KJV : Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with thy master’s servants that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
YLT : and now, rise thou early in the morning, and the servants of thy lord who have come with thee, when ye have risen early in the morning, and have light, then go ye.`
RV : Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with the servants of thy lord that are come with thee: and as soon as ye be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
